John Austin is a senior analyst in the campaign development and analysis team
within Policy and Capability Studies at the Defence Science and Technology
Laboratory. In this role his main areas of work cover strategic logistics, deployment analysis and campaign development. He is also a volunteer for the Support to Operations readiness pool, which is made up of analysts from across
the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory who are available to support
defence exercises alongside members of the regular Support to Operations
Deployment Team. John has a BSc in International Business Economics from
Lancaster University.
