Bob Madahar is Senior Principal at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory of the Ministry of Defence in the Cyber Embedded Systems Group of the Information Management Department. He was previously the Chief Technologist of the department. Professor Bob Madahar is an experienced experimental physicist whose research work over more than three decades, for both industry and government, has embraced a number of technical areas. Examples include parallel and distributed processing, high performance computing, data and information fusion, embedded system design and development environments and systems engineering. His current role is to lead research and provide technical leadership in Cyber embedded systems, high performance computing and related areas such as ‘big data and internet of things’.
